We are building our herd with top-tier genetics to ensure that the youth in our program have access to cattle capable of standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the largest and most established ranches in Texas. By prioritizing quality from the very beginning, we are laying the foundation for a program that empowers students to compete confidently and successfully at the highest levels.

Already in Motion

Significant progress has already begun within our breeding program. A high-quality Limousin cow is scheduled for a flush in January, producing elite embryos that will help establish our foundation herd. We also have targeted purchases planned at the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Congress, where we will focus on acquiring superior Limousin, Red Angus, Simmental, and Shorthorn genetics. Additionally, we have already arranged the purchase of recipient cows, allowing us to begin our embryo transfer program immediately. These steps ensure that our herd is built with intention, precision, and long-term sustainability.

The reality is simple: cattle capable of winning at high-level shows are expensive—often far beyond what many hardworking families can afford. The cost of purchasing, feeding, hauling, housing, and training show cattle creates an enormous financial barrier for rural youth who otherwise possess the talent, drive, and passion to excel. Without support, many never get the chance to even step into the ring, let alone compete on an equal playing field.

Our team provides nutrition plans, veterinary guidance, fitting and showmanship training, and transportation to jackpots, county fairs, and major Texas shows. Just as importantly, we surround each young person with encouragement, accountability, and mentorship to help them grow not only as exhibitors but as leaders.
